The uncanny interiors of Thomas Demand, at first, they seem normal large scale photos of interiors until one notices that everything is made from cardboard, suddenly this unsettling realisation turns everything on its head, scale and space become uncertain. One thing these mock ups seem to prove I think is that it is often the quality of light that convinces us most.
