As the holidays draw nearer, many of us will head to our "home" homes to celebrate with our families (and even sleep in our childhood bedrooms). These images remind me of the well-loved homes of Christmas past -- a big kitchen table to gather around, stuffed cupboards, creaky stairs, love-worn wallpaper and hidden corners.
