Great Shades of Green!

What a week it has been!  The High Point Market always provides me with lots to share, in regards to the world of interior design.  I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my new website and the garden has been calling for some attention.  You know I’ve been in full-tilt when my words are few . . .

I’ll begin this week’s post with visions of a rich springtime hue.  Perhaps that’s why I’m editing my chatter.  I just want you to enjoy the lush experience of the jewel-toned versions of green!

Pearson Furniture showcased bottle-green accents in their High Point showroom, at the spring market.  I loved the rich velvet pillows popping in the depths of the walls!

The backs of these chairs were accented in a dramatic crewel, patterned fabric.  A verdant display!  (Also from the Pearson showroom in High Point.)

Garden & Gun Magazine recently featured the NYC office of Charleston wedding designer, Tara Guerard.  The luscious, emerald green leather creates a lush landscape within this vignette.   (Photography by Liz Banfield)

Even for green, malachite is becoming one hot hue!  Interior Design - Barbara Howard.  (A previous Southern Accents showhouse.)

My view on a Saturday springtime drive  . . . a farm field in Union County, NC.  Heading to Three Creek Farms Nursery to pick up garden dressings.  Can’t you almost smell the grass?

Don’t worry, I’m sure my thoughts will soon be collected and my words more expansive!  Of course, that’s always the balance of a blogger . . . keeping the content intriguing and the images captivating.

As always, thanks for stopping by to share a moment of your time!

All my best ~ Wanda
